DR. CHERNOFF B.Sc., M Sc., O.D.
Member in good standing with the SAO and CAO

Optometrist 
Dr. Wayne Chernoff was born and raised in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. He attended the University of Regina where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction. He then pursued a Masters of Science degree majoring in Biochemistry and Cancer Research.  Dr. Chernoff continued his education attending the University of Waterloo and receiving his Optometric Degree in 1998. He has a special interest in diagnosing ocular pathology cases, retinal tears, and detachments.
In his spare time, he devotes time to the Estevan Minor Hockey Association volunteering for various tournaments and games and spending time with his wife and children.  He is also an avid golfer and supports many of the local charities in the community and also has sponsored a scholarship program at the University of Regina.
Dr. Chernoff is a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Optometrists, and the Saskatchewan Association of Optometrists.

Help Us Welcome Our New Optometrist
​ Dr. Logan Chernoff OD
Graduate, Waterloo, ON, College of Optometry

Dr. Logan Chernoff was born and raised in Estevan, Saskatchewan. He comes from the graduating class of 2018 at the Estevan Comprehensive School. While growing up in Estevan he participated in both minor hockey and junior golf. Logan completed 3 years of Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in mathematics at the University of Regina.  He then received early acceptance into the Doctor of Optometry Program at the University of Waterloo, Ontario where he graduated with distinction in 2025. While attending the Optometry program, he was a team member of the Varsity Golf Team, as well as a member of the OUA Men's Varsity Championship Team in 2023.  Logan was on the Dean's Honor list from 2022-2025.  He also was a recipient of the J.S. Rancourt Scholarship in 2023
Logan completed his Optometry externships in Grande Prairie, AB and Kingston, NS in 2024.  He has now returned to his roots here in Saskatchewan and is currently working in the Southeastern part of the province.

SHERYL

Financial Manager (CCOA) 
​Sheryl is our Financial Manager and Human Resource Specialist. She convocated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts, and also a Bachelor of Administration degree. In her spare time, she enjoys being involved in Estevan Minor Hockey, and spending time with her husband and four children. 

MICHELE 

Dispensary Manager
Michele is the Dispensary manager and has been dedicated to the clinic for six years. She aquired her Special Care Aid Certificate from Siast before getting into the Optometric field. Michele escapes to her cabin on the weekend to visit her children and grandchildren, while doing some boating and hanging out at the beach. 

MICHELLE

Eyecare Manager 
Michelle is our Eyecare Manager as well as the pre-tester. She takes the measurements of your eyes before you see the doctor, and submits your insurance policies making life much easier for all of our customers. 

TESSA

Tessa is a part of our front desk team. She deals with appointments, insurance, payments, and pre-testing. Tessa enjoys visiting with her daughter when she is home from university and watching her son play hockey.

KIM

Kim is our skilled pretester who guides patients through the first steps of their eye exam. Her friendly approach and attention to detail help ensure every visit starts smoothly. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

STEPHANIE

Stephanie assists patients in choosing the right frames and lenses, combining product knowledge with a warm, supportive style to make eyewear selection easy and enjoyable. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.

ALEX

Alex specializes in contact lenses and eyewear dispensing, offering patients clear guidance and personalized support to ensure they feel confident and comfortable with their vision choices. She likes doing art and travelling.
